We’re proud and deeply grateful to be celebrating our 24th birthday with you, our patient community! Each year we’re reminded of how far we’ve come since the humble roots and big healing dreams of Co-Founders, Tim and Kristi Zimmer. We grew from a small wellness practice to multidisciplinary health and wellness clinics.
Our patient community continues to drive, shape, and sustain our organization. The question for us has always been, “What does the community need for health & healing, and how can we contribute?” From the start, we noticed what seemed to be a big gap in the healthcare experience. This gap was an environment and approach that treated the body like a temple and honored all aspects of a person seeking health. We answered the call and never looked back!
Soon after opening, we began adding Naturopathic Doctors to our team. This transformed our wellness practice into a more comprehensive health center. Naturopathic medicine has also come a long way in the last couple of decades. Our team of physicians can prescribe, diagnose, order labs and imaging. They manage most prescriptions and perform many procedures with the same scope as their MD (Medical Doctor) peers. This framework yields holistic and often life-changing results.
Another benefit of this model that answers a gap in client care is timely, direct access to care. Our patients don’t experience the wait times you might find in conventional medical clinics and can receive acute care as needs arise. No waiting six months for an MRI you needed yesterday!
Over 2 decades of service have provided many learning opportunities (aka ups and downs). During the COVID-19 pandemic, many independent natural health centers shut down. Strained finances and early retirements closed many clinic doors, causing a lifetime of built knowledge to disappear. We learned from this and changed our organization structure to an enduring partnership owned entirely by female clinicians. Now we seek and identify rising leaders in the field to join our partnership and strengthen our future. We’re planning to be around for generations to come!
And let’s not forget the healers! We’ve always been a magnet for attracting world class healing artists! Our focus on TOTAL healing – mind, body, and spirit – has made us a home for talented and devoted practitioners. They are gifted at holding space for our clients no matter what they’re going through. We have known many of our patients long enough to have supported them through a life challenges and transitions. This makes Temple Care uniquely comforting.

Kristi Zimmer is the CEO of Temple Natural Health, a natural medicine clinic focused on detox, digestive health, and nervous system balance. With a background in massage, colon hydrotherapy, and nutrition, she combines her personal healing journey with a passion for holistic wellness.
She leads a team of professionals dedicated to compassionate care and continuously strives to improve the clinic’s services through client feedback.
