I have been going there for over 25 years, my health is excellent, thanks to their coaching and services that they offer. The staff is amazing, the owners have very high standards, and they are Hands-On making sure everything goes smooth. They were able to schedule her the next week, and then they did the paperwork and bloodwork same day too. Dr. Maggie was great with her and the whole experience was seamless. Nanette Armstrong9 July 2026Dr. Jamie Doughty is amazing. I was referred by a friend to visit here for lymphedema in my arm. My arm hasn't felt better in years. The electro lymphatic massage was so helpful. While there we also discussed my GLP-1 journey and medications. Found out some of my meds were canceling out other meds and some meds were being taken at the wrong time of day. After adjusting these recommendations I feel better and sleep better a week out. Will continue to visit here to get my body back on track. Wish I would have found her/them earlier.Posted on Google

Although I've received many different types of bodywork over the years, abdominal massage was new to me, and Caitlyn immediately put me at ease with her warm, thoughtful presence. She took the time to understand what was going on in my body and explained how the treatment would address my specific concerns, which left me feeling completely supported. Her depth of knowledge really stood out. She seamlessly connected the structural and emotional aspects of the body, helping me understand how tension in the abdomen can contribute to pain in the neck, jaw, back, hips, and legs. During the session I could feel my body relaxing, and in the days afterward I noticed a significant decrease in my back pain and shoulder tension. I highly recommend Caitlyn to anyone dealing with pain, tension, or simply looking to feel more connected to their body. Temple Natural Health is also a beautiful, welcoming space with an incredible team. Dr. Doughty had me healing in no time. I feel that without her I would still be struggling and miserable. Dr. D is friendly and kind. Her knowledge is awe inspiring. She made my original appointments and was the first specialist I saw in the 3 scheduled appointments. Reception lovely and calm. Parking is not wonderful through no fault of Tummy Temple--just allow time to scope it out and park carefully. Traffic is dicey. If you can, park on side street and walk.Posted on Yelp

Henrietta O.14 October 2021I've been seeing Dr. Allison Egan ND first for scar therapy injections originally and then for massage and trigger point injections after my car got totaled. Her understanding of pain and the body are very high level and she took great care throughout my entire recovery. The scar therapy is a scar on my face right above my eye from a car accident when I was a teenager. Over the years that scar has become a focal point for headaches and it feels like it's wrapped around a nerve and become very hard and crunchy. After only a few sessions I could feel the difference in the scar. It was softer and my weekly headaches had gone down considerably in frequency and pain level. It's amazing how long I dealt with them and how quickly it resolved when I found the right therapy. She was very gentle and precise - considering I was getting injections into my face near my eye. Then I got in a new car accident and started getting massage from her which was therapeutic and very helpful BUT EVEN BETTER the trigger point injections were amazing and made all the difference in the world! They allowed my overly tight and painful muscle patterns to finally relax and recover / heal. She was honest about what I needed and obviously really enjoys her work. She was very gentle and made the experience relaxing. I would recommend her to anyone who has muscular pain! (She also does prolotherapy injections for joint issues)Posted on Yelp
Sam S.18 June 2021Second colonic tonight with Dr. Allison Egan. What can I say? She listens and is very comfortable to work with in what is for most of us a "less than fabulous movie" moment. Movement, yes. She worked my colon like a target shooter, clearing gas and blockages with deep, knowledgeable and intuitive well placed belly massage. Good hands, good advice - about a multitude of subjects including nutrition, supplements, etc. I highly recommend you see her if you are feeling any gut discomfort, constipation, "the opposite of those conditions," he said delicately, but especially to relieve a sense of icky stuckness and irritation that needs to clear out. Internet searches will tell you the AMA says colonics do nothing. The AMA are idiots. Put your embarrassment aside and go save your life.Posted on Yelp

I have had a recurring blockage in my digestive system that has bothered me off and on for years and none of my health care providers could help me with. UPDATE April 18, 2019: SHOUT OUTS FOR CATHERINE + LAUREN Here is my promised update on certain information re: the Tummy Temple. As stated in my original review, I could not remember the names of those who performed my ELT (Electro Lymphatic Therapy). Their names are Catherine and Lauren. As reported before, both were great people to work with! ELT IS NOW DLT But now, ELT has been renamed "Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy" (DLT), since I was last there in December 2017. Thank you Sheila for providing me this updated information today over the phone. "STEP N' GO" IMPROVES BUSINESS! I said in the end of the original review that basically it was unclear how helpful the therapy sessions at the clinic were. But I'm happy to report that the "Step 'n Go" stool (see photo) that they sold me in 2017 for $25 does indeed help me to empty my excrement better. And anything that helps me to do my business better can only be a good thing! In fact, when I'm in a public restroom, I put my feet on top of the trash can to act as a makeshift "Step n' Go" to help eliminate better. BETTER BUSINESS BIDET? Speaking of "better business", I had a new toilet installed last year, with a fixed bidet(as opposed to the "spray gun" type bidet) added onto it (see photo). This allows me to be able to spray myself after doing my business, instead of having to use toilet paper. The jury is still out on that one. But I understand that in many other countries in the world, bidets are used in public restrooms instead of toilet paper. I know that this is true at least in Asia and in the Middle East. The feeling is that using toilet paper is insanitary. One thing I do know is that toilet paper can clog up toilets. This was part of the reason I replaced my toilet. The Tummy Temple also told me that they still have no official opinion re: the use of bidets vs toilet paper, which is kind of surprising.Posted on YelpAviva P.26 January 2019I have been coming here for years! Dre R.2 August 2018Life changing!!! I had the best experience at The Tummy Temple today after being shrugged off by my PCP's office. I am attuned to my health and my body, and I knew something was very amiss when I inexplicably lost my "regular" patterns for a week. My doctor's office told me to take massive quantities of laxatives, as if I hadn't already tried that. I was positively miserable this morning, and I am gloriously joyful tonight! Everyone at this practice treated me kindly and graciously, and they genuinely seemed to care and wanted to help. They were able to see me same-day (hooray!) for a colon hydrotherapy session with Dr. Venessa. She was very professional and caring, communicated with me throughout the session, and gave me good advice post-session. I felt immediate relief from a week of terrible discomfort, and tonight at home everything that needed to resolve itself did so thanks to the "reboot" at The Tummy Temple. I was hopeful that my experience would be as positive as the majority of the reviews. Jana who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. That was a good start. Then when first walking into The Tummy Temple, I was greeted with a smile and encouraged to go sit and relax in their lounge prior to my appointment. I am battling stage 4 cancer and so I appreciate being greeted so kindly and compassionately. I had tea (they provide) in their lounge and found it to be a very relaxing and inviting waiting room! I then saw Dr. Jessica. She had such a welcoming and comforting way about her. I've been going for two months now and have received colon therapy as well as cranial sacral sessions and Dr. Jessica EXCELS in both arenas. She and I have been working together to help me heal. Both physically and emotionally. I look forward to my weekly appointments and my husband is now going. You don't have to have cancer like I do to benefit from her expertise, knowledge and very caring way. I understand that this costs money, however what you gain is so much more. THANK YOU DR. JESSICA for helping me. Jakie S.4 November 2017I highly recommend going for a tune up, as I call it. My friend and I went for the first time. We were both nervous slightly, but everyone that works there were so nice. It was a relaxing environment. The upstairs lounge has nice tea choices while you wait. Janelle was awesome! She asked what you were experiencing and explained the whole process. It's so not painful. Plus, while she massages your tummy, we had a fun conversation. It was an hour process but it felt like the time flew by. They, also consult children, as well.
