About Me
Since 2013, I’ve been practicing massage with client-led, goal-oriented therapeutic touch. What is exciting to me about massage is thinking of it as Applied Neuroscience. The results are so tangible and are felt so immediately. I can pinpoint exactly where someone feels pain, confirm what they are feeling, and use proven methods and techniques to relieve it in real time. My philosophy is that massage is a science and an art—it is both a service to others and a gift.
I know firsthand the amount of time, opportunities, and memories I’ve missed out on due to pain and physical limitations. Life is too short to live it in pain. If you are struggling with imbalances or tension, I would love to help you live your life to its fullest and be present for the loved ones in your life.
Specialties
My approach is Intuitive; my hands work to listen to the needs of the body instead of just following a protocol. I enjoy working with everyone—any age, size, color, gender, and ability—but I find a special passion working with people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility, like myself. I believe self-care is empowering and want to support everyone in feeling their best in their unique body.
In addition to my certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), I am endorsed by the WA Department of Health to provide Intraoral Massage to relieve TMJD, face and jaw pain, and surgery recovery. I also hold advanced training in abdominal, breast, and chest massage, and have previously trained in the Feldenkrais Method and worked as a personal trainer.
My work often includes scar tissue mobilization, myofascial release, injury treatment for neck and whiplash, and pre and postnatal care. I also practice non-denominational energy work and body energy readings.
Outside the Clinic
I am a proud native Seattleite, born in Ballard and raised in North Seattle. When I’m not working, I have two kids and am living for the summer! I like to go to the beach, hike, paddleboard, golf, practice Pilates, and lift weights. During the “Big Dark,” I like to rest and craft. I’ve lived in North Seattle my whole life and can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be—ask me about local life and I’ll be happy to share a cool spot!
